Yeah, you read right, I'm going back to burning crusade when the new expansion just hit, why? Simply because everyone is busy with the new expansion, while the old money makers are simply getting no love, and in fact, a new expansion really boosts these types of ways, as it drives people who were normally doing it out because they're simply too focused on Cataclysm.

Any who, today we'll be talking about buying and prospecting Adamantite Ore. One of the great things about doing this is that prospecting adamantite yields adamantite powder, which is a item essential while leveling Jewelcrafting. '

Currently on my server, adamantite ore goes for 20-25g per stack, and yields roughly 3-4 adamantite powder per stack. Adamantite powder goes for 14-20g on my server, and now that there is no competition, I'm sure you can push to 30 or even 40. The basic idea is, the powder pays for the ore and more, making whatever gems you get out of the ore, pure profit.

The reason this powder sells so well is because many people follow guides blindly, and most guides tell them to use this powder to level up. There are cheaper ways to level through the specific level without using this powder, but like said, most people follow guides blindly and simply want to level up.

Get to buying that adamantite ore! I, will be farming it along with outland herbs to add a little more to my depleted ethereal ink stockpile! The Lost Meeplehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16641883203170040656noreply@blogger.com29tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5472930318680609835.post-14850289085742267042010-12-12T08:00:00.002-05:002011-11-27T01:10:15.661-05:00Azshara's Veil Farming SpotBy now most of you know that having a gathering profession is crucial when a new expansion comes out, and I've recently found a spot that is excellent for farming Aszhara's veil, a rare herb that is only found under water, and is not found in many places.

The zone is Tol Borad. While you do have to be level 85 to get here, there has been some talk about being able to fly here if you aren't, it's especially easy with the level 3 guild perk. Any who, below is a map that shows you the route that should be taken, keep in mind that the herbs are underwater. When I farm this spot, I generally carry 30-40 water walking elixirs on me, this allows me to walk on water and dive down to grab the herb. I've noticed that the crabs in the water are very easy to dodge and maneuver around.

I can gather 3-4 stacks in under 10 minutes using this method. The best thing is that this herb is so rare it still is selling for a nice price, I currently sell them for 395g per stack, and they sell and quickly.

Well here is the deal. Once a month we have the awsome Darkmoon Fair visit our servers and for the most part not many people care about it anymore unless they need to turn in DMF cards. With Cata comming up shortly all the new Goblins and Worgens that will be running around this will become even more profitable.

What you are going to be doing

1.Pick up all the cheap [Dense Stone] you can. I am picking up all I can
under 1 gold per stack.

2.Convert all of those dense stones to [Dense Grinding Stone]. Need a blacksmither with at least 250 skill

3.Head to the fair and go talk to Kerri Hicks. She gives you the quest for
[Rituals Of Strength]. Which asks you to turn in 8 [Dense Grinding Stone] for 20
[Darkmoon Faire Prize Ticket]. As a side bonus this gives rep a little into friendly.

4.This is where you decide how you want to gamble with your Tickets.
[Minor Darkmoon Prize] is 5 Tickets.
Notable items
[Razor's Edge]

[Lesser Darkmoon Prize] is 12 Tickets

[Greater Darkmoon Prize] is 40 Tickets
Notable Items
[Pattern: Mooncloth Leggings]
[Six Demon Bag]

You average 50 [Darkmoon Faire Prize Ticket] per stack. You are going to end up with a bunch of greens that the new Goblins and Worgens will like, bunch of low level enchanting Mats, some nice blues and maybe a few really nice patterns.

I suck at writing so please forgive my lack of skill. I have been wanting to contribute something for a long time and finally bit the bullet.

Edit: I totally forgot to mention that you need to check out Lhara. She is a vendor who sells some really nice trade goods. Last month I picked up a bunch of Arctic Furs and Frost lotus. She also has Leathers, Motes and herbs of all levels as well. There is normally only like 2 or 3 of each item but its worth checking. Im guessing she will stock Cataclysm stuff sometime.
I could not agree more. This is an excellent strategy to use to get yourself some rare patterns/boe twink blues for extremely cheap. Dense stone can be picked up for under vendor prices at times, so it is fairly easy to invest a couple hundred gold and get a nice return. Nicely done Duck, Great post! Keep up the good work
Not really. Don't be scared, I'm not going away.

I've been offered a job by Markco to run JMTC, and I've taken up the offer. As of today, December 1st, I am the Content Manager of Just My Two Copper. I'm actually excited about this, it allows me to blog to a bigger and broader audience than I currently do. Don't get me wrong, I love you guys and I'll still be posting here, but just not so often, maybe three or four times a week, as I have been currently. As of today, I will be posting more often at Just My Two Copper, I will be more actively involved there, don't think I'm leaving this blog completely behind, as I won't be.

If any of you bloggers would like to take over here, at The Gnomish Coin, drop me an e-mail at Artsytorres@gmail.com and we can have a chat. Hope to hear from some of you!

See you over at JMTC!

Check out my friend Stormstryker. He's Kewl.
<div_prefs id="div_prefs"></div_prefs><div_prefs id="div_prefs"></div_prefs>The Lost Meeplehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16641883203170040656noreply@blogger.com10tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5472930318680609835.post-20543388678543617492010-11-28T08:00:00.001-05:002010-11-28T08:00:05.042-05:00Enchant Cloak - Stealth - Best BOA Cloak Enchant After Buff

I recently did a post on this enchant not long ago, but I didn't realize that it recently got buffed, and it is now the best BOA enchant to cloaks in the game. Seeing that there are BOA cloaks coming in Cataclysm, I suggest you go grab this enchant ASAP, and start crafting scrolls while the price for the materials are still low.

Now you might be thinking... what's the buff about...? What's so good about it..?

The Buff
Instead of providing ectra stealth, it now provides 8 agility and 8 dodge rating. This has become an excellent enchant for twinks to use on their cloaks. You're selling to any and all Melee DPS classes, Rogues, Warriors, Paladins, Enhancement Shamans, and even hunters. The 8 dodge and agility makes this viable to a lot of classes, so I suspect sales to skyrocket one the BOA cloaks are released in about a week.

I currently sell them for 150-200g per, but with the new BOA cloaks well on their way, I can see the price tag on this item sky rocketing to 3, or even 4 hundred gold. The materials are cheap, so you can yield large profits from this.

If you want to control the market, I suggest buying out all of the Fel Lotus on the auction house, by shorting other players of this material, they are unable to craft this scroll, and that leaves you alone to control the market.

If you haven't snagged this enchant, go do it NOW, seriously, GO, right now.

Recently, Blizzard have lowered the prices for WoW, and it's expansions up to Wrath of The Lich King. It is a special promotion that is going on for Black Friday, basically, Vanilla WoW Costs $5, Burning Crusade Costs $5, and Wrath Of The Lich King Costs $10. You can have the full game ( right now ), for $20, which is pretty damn cheap, compared to the regular $60-70 you'd normally pay

This is a great oppurtunity to start a refer a friend account, or a second account that can be used for posting/crafting while playing the game. Either way, for $5 it's a steal, I reccomment you snag one. I am currently leveling a warrior, and I went 1-40 in a day, with five hours total played, it's insane how fast it is to level, especially with the refer a friend bonus.

One of the best things about this refer a friend deal, is that you could actually refer a real friend, or you could refer yourself, and if he pays for 1 month of extra subscription, then you get a month free credited. If your friend buys two months of game time, then you also the get X-53 Touring Rocket, the only two man flying mount currently available in the game.

Another great plus, is that if the account is purely bought for posting while you're playing the game on your main, this basically allows you to camp the Auction House 24/7, thus increasing your daily income by insane amounts.
All of the old world stuff, the new maps, and a couple old things were left in there, Gilneas, new glyphs, ... /cry Ironforge didn't get revamped...

Any who, the first thing I did when I logged in was, look at Ironforge, nothings changed, kind of bummed me out... I really hate Stormwind. After seeing that Ironforge was not changed, I teleported to Dalaran, I instantly went to check Jessica Sellers. It turned out that it was true, she no longer takes in Inks of The Sea for other inks, instead, she now wants Blackfallow Inks, or the cataclysm equivalent. I then talked to the short gnome next to her, and noticed that the technique, Glyph of Quick Decay is now gone. Instead, Glyph of Lash Of Pain is in it's place. I wonder where it went, anyone who had any, should make some decent coin ( check your AH! )

I then went off to Tanaris, and checked if Dirge was selling his recipe. Nope, sadly this little gnome does not want to reveal his secret to the rest of Azeorth. Off to Stormwind I was, I checked out the new city, it was cool, I was still bummed out though, everyone hates Stormwind ( YES, you do ) why would they revamp this cluttered and stupid city? Why not Ironforge? I logged off my main, and went onto my tailor, I posted 20 bags at 9g each, bought all the netherweave cloth under 10g a stack, I did this in order to create a semi-wall effect.

I then hoped onto my alliance scribe, canceled, restocked, and reposted, I camped the AH for about an hour just to make sure that the competition didn't undercut me. By the end of the night, I met my 2k quota that I meet every morning, so in total, today was an excellent glyph day.

What did you do during the first minutes of 4.0.3a?
Image Courtsey of MMO-Champion
<div_prefs id="div_prefs"></div_prefs><div_prefs id="div_prefs"></div_prefs><div_prefs id="div_prefs"></div_prefs>The Lost Meeplehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16641883203170040656noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5472930318680609835.post-61696137624178482562010-11-23T08:00:00.007-05:002010-11-23T08:02:57.617-05:00Patch 4.0.3a - Were You Prepared?

Man. For one I milled thousands upon thousands of stacks of herbs in the last 72 hours. I milled roughly 1700 stacks of herbs. I've been like a chicken with it's head cut off, running wild, trying to get all the information possible into my head, trying to do these last minute things. I managed pretty well, but I wish I would of started earlier.
Now I'm asking myself... was I prepared? Do I have enough? Will it be enough? Did I miss something? Did I remember to do _______ ?
I know for a fact, that when you mill 1700 stacks of herbs in the last 72 hours before a patch, that you're not prepared. This patch hit me almost blindly, I milled and crafted items up until the very last minute. Why? There has been speculation that Jessica Sellers, will no longer trade inks of the sea for other inks, instead she will be trading Blackfallow Inks.

I managed to snag a couple recipes that might be gone in cataclysm as well, I wish I could of grabbed more though, as I can see them going for insane prices, like the Thistle Tea Recipe.

Now ask yourself, were you prepared for this? Did you forget to grab something? Do you have enough? Will it last?

There is one achievement that requires you to kill 40 turkeys in either Elwynn Forest or Durotar, it's really difficult without having a way to track the turkeys, you could make a macro, but most people choose to go buy one or two Tracker Snacks, this allows them to track the turkeys on your map, making this achievement very, very easy.

How do I obtain this recipe?
This recipe is purchased with 3 Dalaran Cooking Award obtained by doing the daily cooking quests in Dalaran. If you don't have this recipe yet, I suggest you start by leveling your cooking using the Pilgrims Bounty, and then doing the dailies for three days.

Where do I obtain Shoveltusk Flank?
The only place to obtain this are in Howling Fjord, I took a flight point to Howling Fjord from Dalaran, I landed 5 minutes later, I flew around and managed to farm 20 Flanks in 5 minutes, It's extremely easy and they're all over the place and they come in packs.

I find that advertising in trade helps a TON when selling these babies. So far I've sold about 30 at 17-20g each, it's really easy gold for little to no time. I advertise while I mill, and craft inks.
Still don't know what I'm talking about?

Many people think that crusader is the best in game enchant for melee DPS, I always beg to differ, as the way I see it, killing stuff faster is more efficient than a proc on hit effect.

Plans: Iron Counterweight
That's right. Iron Counterweights are a great alternative to that so desired crusader or any other type of silly enchant. The thing with this is, that it enchants a weapon to grant 20 Melee haste. 20 haste at low levels is extremely good, it makes you attack 52% faster at level 1. I can't even imagine two of these on a level one, 104% haste for the win?

The materials for this item are very cheap if I must say, I managed to snag all of the materials for under 5g. I can then, craft the item and list them for about 100g. I've sold a couple above 100g, but I've found 100g to be the "sweet spot" for this counterweight. They're cheap to craft, low risk and can yield high returns, what more could you ask for?

I know what more you could ask for! These plans are semi-rare, they pop on the auction house quite a bit though, and they're regularly cheap, I've snagged about three or four over the course of two weeks, why? Because it allows me to control the market. If people don't have access to the plans, there is no competition, if there is no competition, it allows me to list as many as I like at whatever price I want. You've got yourself a niche market!

Add the plans for this item to your snatch list or memory, and watch for it on the Auction House, Craft them once you manage to snag it!The Lost Meeplehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16641883203170040656noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5472930318680609835.post-90281295839257414032010-11-20T11:59:00.000-05:002010-11-20T11:59:57.598-05:00Why use your engineer teleports

Many people don't know about these portals, either that or they simply don't make them, which is a shame, really.

For one, they're a great for transportation, even if it has a 4 hour cooldown, they're a great way to navigate around Azeroth and Outlands. Another great thing about these teleports is that all of them teleport you to a place that is relatively close to a vendor that will make you easy gold. Some will make you more than others, but nevertheless, they'll still make you easy gold.

The gold opportunities depend on what type of engineer you are, want to find out what they are...?

Goblin Engineer
Dimensional Ripper - Area 52
This is by far one the best teleports. You're two seconds away from Quiff, The Magical Goblin, who sells a variety of engineering items that can be flipped for huge amounts of profit, especially the Khorium Power Core. You're also not far away from The Stormspire which you can go grab yourself a couple vendor pets that can be flipped for profit.

Dimensional Ripper - Everlook
This isn't a bad teleport, but it doesn't make as much gold as the others. You can snag yourself a couple rare spawn recipes here that can be flipped for good amounts of gold, one of them being the fused wiring schematic. This schematic can sell anywhere from 25-30g on my server. If you don't have the Mechanical Yeti schematic yet, you can start the quest here ( do it before cataclysm! ). The Yeti can make yourself some excellent gold.

Gnomish Engineer
Ultrasafe Transporter: Gadgetzan
This is another excellent teleport. It puts you seconds away from several recipes which can be sold at the auction house for profit. One of the best recipes to pick is the Recipe: Philosopher's Stone. This recipe is an alchemists "choke" point and therefore is needed by 90% of all alchemists, most of then are not willing to venture to Tanaris and will pay anywhere from 25-50g

Ultrasafe Transporter: Toshley's Station
This is also an excellent teleport, but only because it puts you a minute away from Netherstorm, where there are a couple vendors that sell things that can be flipped for nice profits.

So what are you waiting for...? Go use them and snag yourself some easy gold! The Lost Meeplehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16641883203170040656noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5472930318680609835.post-23433371666899958832010-11-18T08:00:00.002-05:002010-11-18T08:47:53.567-05:00Azshara - A gold mine

Many people truly hate Azshara, I on the other hand, love this Zone. There are so many ways to make gold in this zone it's outrageous! From Fishing, to a world dragon, a Zone event and a couple recipes, Azshara itself is a gold mine, it's a shame that it's going to be completely revamped in Cataclysm.

Want to find out what makes this zone so special...?

Globes of Water

This is the best place to farm these babies, they spawn in four or five different pools across the zone. They can sell for 10g+, and sometimes even more. It can be very easy to control this market, and to be more in depth, the Mechanical Yeti Market and prices. The map to the below shows you where you can find the pools. The pools also have a chance to drop Essence of Water, which sells quickly, but not for too much. I suggest that you stockpile a couple of these, get them cheap now, seeing as this method of obtaining them is most likely going to be removed, I suspect their prices will rise.

The World Dragon

There is a world dragon that spawns here. He is also being removed come the shattering. I suggest you take a look and see if he is up. He's extremely easy to solo with a tanking class. The drops from this guy are endless... Schematics worth 5k+ to rare epic patterns that are worth even more. If you haven't killed a world dragon yet, go out there and do so! They're a great source of extra income for about 10-20 minutes of work.

The Zone Event

There is a zone event that happens here. The event is an elemental invasion. It is a great place to farm elemental earth. This is again another key element needed for the mechanical yeti. It is very easy to farm a bunch of elemental earth, and essence of earth here, and they both sell rather well, especially the elemental earth. Just make sure that you don't kill the boss, otherwise the elementals will stop spawning. I did this my first time, because I was like oooooh... rare! BIG mistake! Killing the "boss" will no longer spawn the elementals that spawn from the invasion. The invasion happens roughly once every three to four days, but it is worth checking for it, it' something unique to the old world, and will most likely be going away, which is a shame.

Recipes

There are a couple patterns that might be going away in Cataclysm due to the drastic revamping of this zone. The recipes where covered in a post earlier last week, Items that are going away in Cataclysm. The Two Recipes that are worth getting, at least before the shattering happens are Schematic: Deepdive Helmet and Pattern: Blue Dragonscale Breastplate. They are both located in the same place, one is sold by Jubie Gadgespring, and the other pattern is sold by Blimo Gadgetspring. They are husband and wife, and reside in the same house. The Dragonscale Pattern is kind of rare to catch, but I really think it's worth camping for, if it really is going away, then it will be worth thousands upon thousands of gold.

So what are you waiting for!?!? Azshara is going to be changed, most likely this upcoming tuesday, and you will never have a chance to see this gorgeous zone! Get out there and explore Azshara for it's true beauty!
The Lost Meeplehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16641883203170040656noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5472930318680609835.post-73697679118811289642010-11-17T08:00:00.013-05:002010-11-17T09:23:38.573-05:00Hello Fellow Bloggers!

Hello everyone! I've gotten a couple recent e-mails with people telling me to check out their blog, and lately I've been so busy that I read them, and kind of ignore them ( Sorry! ). I will do that no longer! I would like to name a couple new blogs that are looking rather good, and have been added to my blog roll.

Want to know what they are...?

Kammler's Korner
Kammler has been pumping out interesting content lately, especially an excellent guest post on Just My Two Copper. Keep it up, keep writing good content, I hope your blog flourishes and becomes something that you'll learn to love, I've added you to my blog roll as well. Best of luck!

Zenith's Round Table
This is another blog that has started up rather nicely. There are are several good posts here as well. Zenith seems like a great individual with awesome ideas, I expect good content out of him. I've added you to my blog roll as well. Keep up the good work! Best of luck with your blog!

Foo's WoW Mussings
This is a well established blog that has been up for sometime now, I don't know why I haven't added him to my blogroll. The content here is great, and another plus for being well established, check him out! Good Luck, and I hope you keep posting constantly.

Not So Secret Society
Another new gold blog, but the tips so far have been splendid, I hope you keep your blog, keep posting regularly, and your blog will flourish. I've added you to my blog roll as well. Best of luck!

I Has Stuffs
This is an up and coming blog, it's only a couple days old, but I talked with Dizzysmooshr in the IRC, I liked how we thought somewhat alike. It's awesome that he's also part of the Consortium Forums. I can see great content come out of your blog, I hope you stick with it. Best of luck, and sorry for posting my Inscription post ( Lol )!

That's all I have folks, check their blogs out and maybe drop a comment, new bloggers are always welcome, they bring new ideas, and a fresh set of mentality. I wish you four best of luck and hope you all enjoy blogging as much as I do.

One tip I can offer to you bloggers out there, is to get your name out there, visit the forums, post a link, join the IRC, make a twitter account, spread your name anywhere you can, spread the buzz that you're out there and you have ideas, fresh new ideas that you want everyone to read. Don't be afraid, most of us don't bite and we're actually nice people that love to help others. What's the worst that can happen?
She will no longer trade in Inks of The Sea for other inks, Come Cataclysm, she will instead be trading Blackfallow Inks, for other inks. Smart people will have Inks already stocked up and traded before Cataclysm hits.

Inscription is going to make you thousands upon thousands of gold, it just depends on how ready you will be for the second "Glyphmas" of Cataclysm...?

Why Stockpile?
First of all, if you're smart you're going to stockpile, and you will stockpile enough inks to last you a LONG time. Why? Because, I don't see the new Cataclysm herbs dropping to under 25-40g per stack during the first month, in fact I can see them going for 50-100g per stack during the first few weeks. I would have enough inks to last at bare minimum, a week. I will be stockpiling enough inks to last me roughly three weeks.

I currently have 800 stacks of adder's tongue that I picked up for 8g per stack. The deal with buying these gems now is that once you mill everything, you will have enough snowfall ink to pay for the herbs. Basically using this method ( Read Comments ), you're crafting glyphs are free, or no cost. This allows me to lower my thresh hold substantially, I can post glyphs at 10g.

What I have been doing lately as well if lowering my thresh hold down to 5g and buying out the dumb under cutters . This allows me to get cheap glyphs, at under 5g, while not spending the time to mill the herbs and make the inks. You do have to be careful though, as they will and can buy your stuff out as well.

But I'm not a scribe!
You better become one then! I have posted a short guide on Inscription and how to batch post items after 4.0.1. You better start leveling a scribe, and now. The sooner the better as you will need tons of days for research. You obtain this item by running a full Dire Maul North Tribute run. A full Dire Maul tribute run means that you kills no guards ( or the least amount ) and get to the chest, essentially, the less guards you kill the higher the chance this item has to drop. Due to the rarity of this item, I can see this item easily going for 5k-10k come Cataclysm.

Gordok Ogre Suits
I have also heard that these suits are going away along with the goblin that hands them out. If these Gordok Ogre Suits do disappear come Cataclysm, then the prices for these suits are going to sky rocket. Most specificly, the four BOE Epic Patterns found inside. The patterns are Pattern: Hide of the Wild, Pattern: Shifting Cloak, Pattern: Chromatic Cloak, and Pattern: Belt of the Archmage. I hope to see you all there!

Poor Thomas Yance, being called old and he's barely old, hehe... Anywho, Today's post is about a vendor that is rarely seen by people, a vendor that many people don't even know exist, a very cool yet cruel vendor that kills level ones and steals their clothing and then tries to sell them back to players ( that's my theory! )

Thomas Yance is a vendor located in Old Hillsbrad Foothills, not the regular old and boring Hillsbrad Foothills, OLD Hillsbrad Foothills, which is located inside of the Caverns of Time. Thomas Yance sells a leatherworking pattern that can be flipped for a rather nice price. The Pattern is.... Pattern: Riding Crop.

One of the great things is that, the pattern costs 5g to pick up, and can be flipped for anywhere between 100-150g easily. Why? Because people don't know about this pattern, I'm sure only people that played during Burning Crusade know about this pattern. The rarity of this pattern helps, as there is rarely any competition for it, I've sold a couple for 150g each, but I found the sweet spot to be roughly 100g.

Another great thing is that you can learn the pattern and attempt to sell the actual item, as it still fetches a nice coin. The materials should be rather cheap, especially if you manage to pick up a cheap primal might, or better yet, if you can transmute your own.

I'm not sure about stockpiling these for Cataclysm as I don't see many changes to the Caverns of time, but it can't really hurt.

So what are you waiting for? Take a trip down to Old Hillsbrad Foothills and give Old Ye Thomas Yance, The Traveling Salesman a visit!<div_prefs id="div_prefs"></div_prefs>The Lost Meeplehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16641883203170040656noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5472930318680609835.post-58267551231207326982010-11-11T08:00:00.005-05:002010-11-11T11:07:19.747-05:00Enchant Cloak - Stealth - Go And Grab It!
A while back in the day, I was making a twink rogue, I was getting everything set up and then realized, Hey, there are no really good enchants, except for a crappy agility enchants, I dug around and found out that this enchant can be used by twinks, and better yet, it's relatively cheap to craft, and sells rather well!

Where do I pick it up?
Now you might be thinking... but mage, that enchant drops from AQ, and that place is hell to get a group going for! While that statement is true, the enchant is also available through other means. The enchant is also sold by Fedryen Swiftspear, the Cenarion Expedition Quartermaster. The enchant does require a reputation of Exalted though. I must say, getting exalted is very easy if you don't have it already, and you get an an achievement for it!

You can go buy Unidentified Plant Parts, most of the time they're posted for very cheap, and these will get you from Neutral, to honored, and fast. Once Honored, you can run the Coilfang Heroics, they're relatively easy to solo, or you could do runs for Coilfang Armaments, or buy a couple off the Auction House. Getting this Reputation to exalted is very easy.

Why does it sell?
Twinks. That is the number one reason it sells. Better yet, with the coming BOA Cloaks coming with Cataclysm, this enchant will be even better, as I think it is one of the best enchants for rogues/feral druids. While you are targeting a specific market, that is offset by how few people know about this enchant. Most people think that this enchant is obtained by looting it from the bosses in AQ, but they simply clicked the first link google gave them, they don't properly research everything.
<div_prefs id="div_prefs"></div_prefs><div_prefs id="div_prefs"></div_prefs><div_prefs id="div_prefs"></div_prefs><div_prefs id="div_prefs"></div_prefs><div_prefs id="div_prefs"></div_prefs><div_prefs id="div_prefs"></div_prefs>The Lost Meeplehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16641883203170040656noreply@blogger.com14tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5472930318680609835.post-52183840782181645292010-11-10T08:00:00.002-05:002010-11-10T21:32:54.288-05:00Thinking about making a chopper soon? Don't!

Are you thinking about buying a chopper soon? Are you saving up for it? Trying to get it before Cataclysm? Well don't buy one! Huh? Don't buy one? Mageshadow have you gone crazy? " I've always wanted one, and now you're telling me not to buy one? " Yes, I said don't buy one. Well okay, you can buy one, after Cataclysm hits!

What's the deal?
Come Cataclysm guild perks will be available, there is one specific perk that can save you 10% off your chopper, nice huh? The Perk is called Bartering. It removes 10% off vendor prices. This means that if you wait until cataclysm, you can save 1250g!

My suggestion would be to pick up the non vendor materials before Cataclysm, as they are pretty cheap now, come Cataclysm, their prices are going to rise due to people not making them anymore. If you are smart, you can pick up the non vendor parts now to save you even more gold down the road.

Cataclysm is less than a month away, if you're saving up now, I suggest you just keep on saving, even if you get enough for a chopper now.
<div_prefs id="div_prefs"></div_prefs><div_prefs id="div_prefs"></div_prefs>The Lost Meeplehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16641883203170040656noreply@blogger.com21tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5472930318680609835.post-48616686333606245042010-11-09T08:00:00.000-05:002010-11-09T08:00:10.675-05:00Don't forget about the Vent Meeting this Friday!Short post today, sorry, I've been extremely sick with almost everything... pink eye, ear infection, sore throat, fevers, and I've had it for a good week or two, hopefully when It's done I can get back to posting regularly.
I basically call the shots for this enchant, and the profits on this enchant are outrageous to say the least.

Where do I pick up this enchant?
This recipe is bought from a vendor inside of Blackrock Depths. It requires the reputation of friendly with the Thorium Brotherhood, which I must say in a away is kind of nice, as not many people are willing to raise their reputation for a single scroll. That is probably the only downside to this enchant, that it requires a reputation that is semi difficult to get to friendly. This is why almost no one has this enchant.

Why does this enchant sell?
It is bought because it is the best enchant for strenght based melee classes, such as Death Knights and Warriors. Sure, that might not be a huge payer base ( Lol yeah right, everyone and their mother has a DK ) but. surprisingly, the enchant sells rather well.

There are none at the Auction House! How Much do I list them for?
I normally list them at 200g each, I keep two up a the Auction House at all times, and most of the time, the same person buys both ( because they have two weapons ). You could try 250g per scroll, but I've found 200g to be the "sweet spot"
<div_prefs id="div_prefs"></div_prefs><div_prefs id="div_prefs"></div_prefs>The Lost Meeplehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16641883203170040656noreply@blogger.com13tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5472930318680609835.post-58526019076739262692010-11-05T08:00:00.000-04:002010-11-05T08:00:09.679-04:00Camping The Dalaran Spellscribe - The Black TabbyYou're asking what a black tabby is? Well The Black Tabby is a non combat pet that is mostly found on the horde side auction house due to the way it is obtained. Come cataclysm the best way to obtain this pet is going away, so I suggest that you start farming this pet now, and either sell the pet now, or store it for cataclysm.

Great! Where do I go?
Well first things first, ask yourself, do you have a horde toon that is about level 20? If the answer to that question is yes, then you're in business! The mob spawns in Silverpine Forest and can only be killed by horde characters. The Mob is named Dalaran Spellscribe. He spawns roughly every three or four hours. He is located In Amber Mill, he can spawn in three places, but they are all located very close to each other. In fact what I do now is log, in and press a button ( a macro ) and if I target him, then I send my pet to attack. The macro is nothing, special, it's a simple target macro, I will post it below.

/target Dalaran Spellscribe
Below is a screenshot of where I stand, it is where I spam my macro and If I do manage to target him, I simply send my pet after him, and I follow my pet.

How much gold am I looking at here?
Well it depends. It depends on what you ask? For one, are you going to be selling this on the Horde Auction House? or will you be smart and sell it at the Alliance Auction House? It also depends if you're even going to sell the pet, or if you are going to be holding onto it for cataclysm. At bare minimum, I value this pet at 1,000. That is if it is sold right after you obtain it, and post it at the Horde Auction House. If you transfer it to the Alliance Auction House, you're looking at something around 4-5,000g. Now, I myself currently have enough gold, so I plan on saving these for cataclysm, where they will be rare. I predict their prices will go somewhere near 10,000g, if not more, due to how rare it will become. The only other place to obtain this pet is from mobs that have a .01% ( 175 out of 147531 ). So yeah, the rarity of this pet is going to increase, and therefore will it's price come Cataclysm

No? You better become one!

Boy oh boy... Inscription... This profession should be renamed to Gold Printing. Honestly, they should rename it to that. I recently leveled a Death Knight to 65, leveled inscription on him and started mass crafting as many glyphs as possible... man was I surprised at the outcome!

First things first. I have been a scribe twice pre 4.0. Both times I did not craft glyphs, I simply bought herbs, milled them, made inks, and I'd make Vellums, Offhands, and Runescrolls. I never made glyphs until about a week ago. I regret not doing so, because quite frankly inscription is a never ending gold mine. There is so much gold to be made here, and it's so easy! What got me interested in inscription again, was reading how people made well over 30-100k+ just from patch 4.0.

I started off with 1,000g. I blew through that leveling inscription to roughly 200. I blew through another 900g before reaching 350. Now, that might seem like a lot, but that 1900g investment has turned into 10,000g over the course of 4 days.

What do I do? What addons do I use?
Well what you do is first, is level a scribe to about 400. Unlike other professions, the items you make while leveling can be sold for huge profits, don't vendor anything that you make instead post the items at the auction house. Once you're at 400 you want to buy or farm a TON of higher level Northrend herbs. Mill them and make as many inks as possible. I normally split the amount of inks I have in 7 evenly, and craft as many glyphs as possible. I'm still new to the market so I though this was the best way to get to know it. I suggest you do the same, split your total inks of the sea evenly and trade them in at Jessica Sellers, Located in the inscription house at Dalaran.Stop once you've done this. You're going to need an addons' help with the next step.

The addon is called Auction Profit Master, also formerly known as Quick Auctions. I did not know a single thing about Quick Auctions, I tried it once and hated it because quite frankly I didn't have a clue what I was doing. I used this excellent Quick Auctions Guide posted by Markco. Follow those steps, it only took me a matter of minutes to do everything. Once that is set up, What I do is do scan of the auction house ( Step 11 on Markco's Guide ) and craft the glyphs that are going for the most, I have been crafting every single glyph lately, But I do not recommend this if you do not have that much liquid gold to spend.

Once you figure out which glyphs are going for the best prices, you'll want to go to the auction house and hit post. Now a button will pop up, normally you'd click it but thanks to the JMTC IRC, I now have a macro that allows me to spam it and it acts like I'm clicking the button. Here is the macro:

/click AuctionProfitMasterPostButton
Spam that macro while posting, and spam the macro below while canceling

/click AuctionProfitMasterCancelButton

Now don't get me wrong, you're probably going to look at this post and be like... Mageshadow that's a LOT of stuff to do! While it seems like a lot, It actually doesn't take that long, and I promise after everything is set up properly, you'll be making thousands upon thousands of gold. My girlfriend made 4,000g almost overnight! I was shocked, and she wasn't even using Quick Auctions, think about how much gold she could of made if she was! 6000g? 8000g? 10,000g?

P.S. Leroy, You're awesome
